Update: The Last Public Exit Improvement / Construction Project on the Comal River was approved by the City of New Braunfels. Project construction began on the exit steps at the "Last Public Exit" on 12/12/2024. The Improvement Project is expected to take 3 to 4 months (depending on weather and other factors). The Last Public Exit will be CLOSED for the duration of the construction, which means any river traffic on the Comal River (including tubes, kayaks, and paddleboards) will be directed to the Garden Street Bridge. The completion of the Improvement Project for the Last Public Exit is expected to be complete before the beginning of the summer river recreation season, which usually starts weekends in May. Texas Tubes has the longest float trip available on the Comal River to their Private Exit Point during the construction period. Texas Tubes' Private River Exit is OPEN for Spring Break 2025 for our customers to exit the Comal River and take our return Shuttle Bus service back to Texas Tubes! NOTE: Access to Texas Tubes' Private River Exit and return Shuttle Service is included in your Tube Rental at Texas Tubes. Only Texas Tubes customers can exit the river at our Private River Exit; non-customers are not allowed to exit/use our Private River Exit due to Insurance policies. Any "non-customer" exiting /or attempting to use our Private Comal River Exit will be "trespassing on private property". Thank you, Texas Tubes
